Found this unusual game and had to add it to Just Solitaire right away. In Bisley Solitaire all the cards are dealt, there is no stock. And there are eight foundations: four start with aces, and the other four are empty, but only accept kings to begin. The ace foundations are built up by suit, and the king foundations down.
It doesn't matter which suited pile the cards go in to. For instance, you could build one pile up from the ace of spades to the 4 of spades, and the other down from the king of spaces to the 5 of spades. Or, ace to 10, king down to jack.
The tableau consists of 12 piles. You can only move the top card on each. You can build on the tableau in suit, either up or down. So you can place a 3 of clubs on a 4 of clubs, or a 5 of clubs on a 4 of clubs. Empty tableau piles can't be used.
I found two various of this game in my books. One has 12 tableau piles of 4 cards each. But I also found a variation that has 13 tableau piles, the last 4 of which only have 3 cards. So I made that an option in the rules preferences.
