How to play Seventeens Solitaire
:
Seventeens is an easy game to learn and play.
- Three cards each are dealt to ten tableau piles. One card each is dealt to three center piles. The rest are in a deck.
- Select two cards that are equal to 17. Jacks, queens and kings are worth 11, 12 and 13. So jack+6 is a valid pair. These pairs will be discarded.
- In addition to pairs that equal 17, you can also choose Ace+2+3. Do this by choosing two of the cards. If the third is available, it will automatically be added to the set and all three will be discarded.
- When you empty one of the three center piles, it will immediately be filled with a new card from the deck until there are no more cards left in the deck.
- The goal is to remove all of the cards.
- By default, you cannot see the two cards under the top card of each tableau pile. But a rule preference allows you to see those cards, making the game easier to win.
